The short version: your photos are analyzed in memory and immediately discarded. We never store, log, or retain your images — and no one, including our own team, can retrieve them, because they don't exist after your verdict is delivered. What we keep is your verdict: the scores and feedback text, without the photo.
FitVerdict ("we," "us") operates the FitVerdict app and website at fitverdict.app, an AI-powered outfit feedback service. Questions about this policy: privacy@fitverdict.app.
When you submit a photo for a verdict:
Our AI analysis is performed via the Anthropic API. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, API inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models by default. You can review Anthropic's data practices at anthropic.com/legal.
To operate the service, improve scoring quality, and troubleshoot problems, we store a verdict record for each scan. It contains:
Verdict records do not contain your photo, your name, or your contact details. The service does not require an account.
Battle codes are generated and decoded entirely on your device. A battle code contains only a score, verdict tier, style label, and occasion — never a photo or any identifying information. Sharing a battle code shares only that.
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand feature usage (for example, how many scans happen per day and which occasions are popular). We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising. The website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function.
Verdicts may include links to third-party retailers (for example Amazon, Myntra, ASOS, Zalando, Noon, Shopee, The Iconic). Some are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission on purchases at no extra cost to you. Once you leave FitVerdict, the retailer's own privacy policy applies. We do not share your photos or verdict data with retailers.
FitVerdict is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the higher minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the service, contact us at privacy@fitverdict.app and we will delete any associated verdict records.
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act, and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Because we hold no photos and no directly identifying information, in most cases the only data associated with you is your verdict history, which we can delete on request. Email privacy@fitverdict.app from the device in question and we will process your request within 30 days.
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Verdict records are stored encrypted at rest and retained for up to 24 months for service quality and abuse prevention, after which they are deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Photos are retained for zero seconds beyond processing, as described in Section 2.
Our infrastructure and AI provider operate primarily in the United States. By using FitVerdict, you understand that your photo is transiently processed, and your verdict record stored, on servers that may be located outside your country, protected by the safeguards described in this policy.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material — in particular, any change to our zero-photo-storage practice — we will notify users prominently in the app before it takes effect.
